For families
Discover a Japanese tradition together. Children can participate from age two, with age four and above recommended. Those aged twelve or under need a private booking and at least one parent or supervising adult. Tell us the number and ages of all guests under eighteen so the format can be discussed.

For couples and friends
A shared experience can be active, cultural or a mix of both. Start with no sumo knowledge: the team explains the rules and demonstrates movements before you try them. Let us know if anyone prefers to watch rather than join contact activities.

For luxury travel and discreet arrangements
Share your clients’ interests, timing, privacy requirements and preferred level of participation. Discuss private instruction, a requested former sekitori, professional photography and language needs in advance. Each addition is subject to confirmation in the proposal.

Clothing, comfort and personal needs
Modest attire and individual comfort can be discussed before the session. Please request access information, observer seating and changing facilities for the specific venue; facilities vary. The programme can be gentler for guests who prefer a less intensive experience.
Your photography preferences
Personal photos are welcome with the permission of anyone being recorded. Tell us if you do not want your image used in publicity. Written photo and video preferences are confirmed before the experience.
